Rob Sell

Tenor Sax

On Sax we have Rob Sell who is our chief horn man and been with the band for over 10 years now! Rob has been playing the saxophone for 20 years and started working as a session musician and performer in London when he was just 14.

Rob primarily trained on the saxophone with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra before branching out into popular music, performing with the likes of Rudimental, John Newman, Sinead Harnett and MNEK on their albums, live performances and TV shows such as Jools Holland. You can also hear him play China Moses’ album ’Nightintales’, for which he also arranged the horns. Rob spent 2 months touring with dance-group Diversity.

Rob’s composition and arranging work includes music written for various documentaries and visual media including for BBC HD and Vodafone and recording and arranging for Derren Brown’s live show.

As you can see Rob has a pretty impressive musical CV and has all the experience required to make sure the SupaTight horn section is one of the best in the land!
